Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is in news for her comeback film tentatively titled as 'Jazbaa', will apparently miss the grand premiere of hubby Abhishek Bachchan's film 'Happy New Year'.
As the premiere of the movie is scheduled to take place on 23rd October in Dubai, it will be clashing with the festival of lights, Diwali. It was a choice which the beauty had to make and she ended up choosing home over hubby.
Everyone knows Diwali is celebrated with great gusto by the Bachchans at their residence. So while Abhi will be busy attending the premiere, Ash will make up for his absence during the festival.
A source says, "The Dubai premiere clashes with Diwali on October 23. Everybody knows Diwali is celebrated with great gusto in the Bachchan household every year. It’s an open-house at the Bachchans’ residence Jalsa for Diwali each year with the entire entertainment industry dropping in through the evening and night. Abhishek cannot be at home for Diwali because he must attend the Dubai premiere of Happy New Year. Aishwarya has decided to opt out of this big moment from her husband’s life so that one of the couple could represent both at the Diwali celebration at Jalsa."
"Aishwarya knows that 'Happy New Year' is extremely important to Abhishek. But she also knows that Diwali at home is an annual occasion that requires Abhishek's presence. She will be representing her husband at Jalsa for Diwali, while he attends the premiere" says the source.
