Ajith Thala’s forthcoming film, directed by Vishnuvaradhan, officially hit the floor on May 31st. The shooting will kick start in Mumbai from June 2.

A press release confirmed that the Mahurat of the film took place at the Vishwaroopa Sri Shridi Sai Baba Mandir in Chennai. Coincidentally the movie started on a Thursday, which is considered the day of Sai Baba.

Mahurat ceremony took place in the presence of Arya, Ajith’s co-star in the film, director Vishnuvaradhan, cinematographer P.S.Vinod, writer Suba, editor Naani, costume designer Anuvardhan and A M Rathnam.

Nayantara and Tapsee are playing the lead actresses in the film. The press release claims that the star cast of the film is considered to be one of the biggest of the Tamil Film industry till date. 

Let’s hope that Sai Baba’s blessings takes the movie a long way.
