Renowed filmmaker Ramesh Taurani and our very own action star Akshay Kumar have joined hands for the first time. Not only one, but the duo are all set to make two films together. And Akki will be paid a whopping 80 crores for both the films.

Confirming the news Ramesh said, "Yes, we have signed Akshay Kumar for our next two films. The first will go on the floors in July first week and will be shot in Cape Town. The film will be co-directed by Sajid-Farhad, who were the dialogue writers for 'Bol Bachchan', 'Golmaal Returns', and 'Housefull 2'. It will be a comedy film."

He further added, "The second film will go on the floors in 2014. The director of the second film has not been decided yet."

When asked about Akki's remuneration amount, Ramesh didn't divulge much into the same.

This will be the first time Ramesh and Akshay will be working together.
