The R&B star is a huge fan of the Irish singing legend, best known for his work with U2. Akon has been lucky enough to work with many of his musical heroes already, but says the famous band have always remained elusive.

U2 is the only one I havent collaborated with. Thats my next goal, he said. I will kidnap Bono. Trust me! I will hold him hostage for his vocals.

Akon recently worked on a track with Canadian singing sensation Justin Bieber, which he thinks will surprise a lot of people. He says it was a pleasure to collaborate with the 16-year-old, and they had fun in the studio.

Yeah, thats my little man. I actually just did a record with him on his next album, Akon told the American edition of OK! magazine. Im giving him pointers on how to pull all the women. You have to just hear the song. Youll love it!

Meanwhile, Justin may be turning rapper after hip-hop star Lil Twist revealed the have been collaborating. The pair have been covering songs but adding their own lyrics, and Lil Twist was astounded by Justins flair for the genre.
