Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar just recently released the film 'Entertainment', where his equation with a dog was the basic crux of the story. And just now comes the news that his love for his beloved dog 'Okie' was tested when he lost it to old age.

Akshay who was very attached to his pet dog is more worried about his son Aarav's reaction to this whole situation as he reveals that they both grew up together.

"I got Okie the same time when Aarav was born. I wanted them to both grow up together. Aarav named him Okie just like that. I remember the day we brought Aarav home, Okie came and started sniffing and somehow, even though I had got Okie, he got the message that Aarav was his master and he had to look after him. He would follow Aarav wherever he went and would sit besides him. Aarav and he have grown up together. We actually had another adopted dog after Okie, but he was not well and even though we tried our level best to save him, he died. Aarav had got attached to him also and started crying after he died, which is when we brought Cleo," said Akshay.

As his son is extremely upset with this loss, Akshay has currently taken his family for a holiday to Singapore. He is most probably doing this to let his son get that space to get over the loss.
