Alec Baldwin will reportedly tie the knot this weekend.
The Hollywood actor and his fiance Hilaria Thomas are planning a Catholic wedding at a "storied New York church", according to the New York Post.
Alec - who proposed to 28-year-old yoga instructor Hilaria in April - will wed at the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral. The church was used as a backdrop for legendary Francis Ford Coppola movie The Godfather.
Sources say a lot of thought has been put into Alec and Hilaria's big day.
"This wasn't a quick decision. It took a lot of planning," an insider explained.
It was previously reported that Alec was poised to wed Hilaria in Europe after wrapping up shooting on a documentary at Cannes Film Festival.
Sources claimed the star was planning his nuptials when the prestigious film festival drew to a close, however, this plan never materialised.
Hilaria will be Alec's second wife. He married Kim Basinger in 1993, but their divorce was finalised in 2002.
It will be Hilaria's first marriage.
A representative for Alec had no comment on the situation.
