(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alex Reid has placed a one month sex ban on his wife Katie Price.

The mixed martial arts fighter – nicknamed ‘The Reidernator’ - is currently in training to take on Tom ‘Kong’ Watson in Birmingham, England, next month. Alex is taking his preparations seriously and believes abstaining from lovemaking will improve his performance in the fight.

The 35-year-old admits it will be tough to resist his glamour model wife and is looking forward to celebrating defeating his opponent with a marathon sex session.

“September 25th is going to be funky night,” Alex laughed. “I have asked many fighters around the world if they abstain from sex. It’s purely a placebo feeling, if you think it works for you then fine. Some people have sex right before, I personally like four weeks just to get the aggression going.”

Alex went on to insist recent reports Katie is pregnant are “not true” but says he can’t wait to have a child with the star. Alex also laughed off rumours their marriage is already on the rocks and Katie has fled the country following a series of heated arguments.

He revealed his wife is currently on holiday in Portugal with family and friends and the pair are happier than ever.

“I am still married, very much in love,” Alex added. “We are the love of each other’s lives.” (C) Cover Media
