(Cover) - EN Star Style - Alexa Chung is desperate to start her own fashion label.

The 26-year-old star first wants to get the right qualifications and do it properly before going it alone. Chung, who is set to present MTV UKs Gonzo programme this year, is keen for the public to see she is serious about any forthcoming collection.

In the future Id really like to start my own label, but Id want people to believe Id actually done it. Id take a pattern-cutting course first. Learn the ins and outs of design, she told the British edition of Elle.

The star has previously created a line with US fashion retailer Madewell, which she greatly enjoyed.

Alexa is a huge fashion fan, and was thrilled when she found out she legendary fashion house Mulberry was naming a bag after.

She likened the move to a rapper becoming famous and getting all their trainers for free.

Chung added: When I was modelling, all I wanted was to become the Mulberry model so I could get a discount. When I got the Popworld [TV show] job, I bought myself a Bayswater as a reward.

So when they phoned up and asked it fit was OK to name a bag after me, it just felt like the most ridiculous, amazing thing ever.
