Dharma Production's much talked venture titled, 'Shuddhi' has finally got its star cast in the face of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.

Karan Johar finally broke the silence on his ambitious project and took to Twitter posting, "And finally..SHUDDHI starring VARUN DHAWAN and ALIA BHATT...directed by KARAN MALHOTRA..@Varun_dvn @aliaa08 @karanmalhotra21 @DharmaMovies"

Initially it was Salman Khan, who was signed by the filmmaker, however, post his ongoing legal hassles, KJo freezed Varun-Alia for it.

Salman congratulated Varun and tweeted, "Kamaal karte ho Varun Dhawan...made ur dad n me so proud of u... happy Shhuddhi"

The duo was last seen in 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and yet again, the chemistry between the two power-pack will entertain their fans.
