(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alicia Keys' eight-month-old son has started copying her waxwork pose.
The American singer had a statue in her likeness unveiled at Madame Tussauds in New York yesterday.
It's been claimed she was initially unsure about the waxwork as she didn't think its first pose was quite right. The plan had been for the statue to be playing a piano something Alicia is famous for. However, after discussions with museum staff it was decided the figurine should be standing up. The final version is of Alicia waving one hand in the air, and she's wearing a leather jumpsuit made famous in her Empire State of Mind promo.
"Sources said Keys told friends that her son, Egypt, is already mimicking that pose," reports New York Post.
Alicia's statue is part of a special exhibition dedicated to New York, something she's thrilled with. She was on hand at the unveiling and couldn't believe what a brilliant job had been done with the waxwork.
"I actually think it's really, really good!" she told MTV News. "I was looking close up: it's like my eyebrows are for real, and it's like my eyes are for real, and the bone structure of my chin, like, 'Look, that's my chin! That's my jaw!'"
