September 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The success of any show depends on its team work. The Colors' Show 'Laagi Tujse Lagan', may be garnering good TRPs but it's off screen scenario leaves much to be desired as the production team is always treating the cast with prejudice.
A little birdie from the sets informs, "There is a lot of discrimination on the sets as far as the green rooms of the cast is concerned. Since there is less number of rooms on the sets, the cast which throws more tantrums are given the first preference. To elaborate, the green rooms along with toilets are offered to the main cast of the show and the room without the washroom is offered to Jay Thakkar (Shethji). Not only Jay but the veteran actress, Chinmayi Ragwan is also going through the same treatment as even after suffering from slip disk, she was left with no room on the sets one day."
That's indeed disgusting on the part of the production house but the entire blame cannot be put on them alone as there are some people on the sets who force them to take such a decision. "Aashka Goradia who essays Leelavati from the show is the one who always throws her weight around the sets." adds a source.
A recent incident on the sets cleared it all, "As said before that Jay and his mom, who accompanies him on the sets, are not given the green room with a washroom due to which Jay and his mom is left with no option but to use, other people's washroom. Recently when Jay's mom came to use a washroom, she saw that there was a lock on the room, so in a hurry, after seeing Aashka's room empty, she used her washroom, thinking that Aashka had packed up," The source adds further. "But the real drama was waiting ahead. After Jay's mom used her washroom, Aashka entered and blasted her for using her toilet without her permission. Aashka insulted the lady with such a bad vocabulary that it made her cry on the sets"
"As every one on the sets is acquainted with the tantrums thrown by Aashka, Jay's mom was calmed down later on by some production people." signs off the source.
We contacted Jay's mom who confirmed the news. That's not fair on the production's part to tolerate such nuisance on the sets
