(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amanda Bynes is expected to be "officially charged" in connection to her DUI arrest within weeks.

The Easy A actress was arrested in West Hollywood on April 6 on suspicion of driving under the influence after she side-swiped a police car.

Amanda reportedly denied an officer's request for her to take a breathalyzer test when she was stopped.

The star is expected to face penalties for her turndown.

"Amanda Bynes refused to take a breathalyzer test, or blood test, which is required under California law when someone is arrested for a DUI," a source told Radar Online. "Bynes will be officially charged with refusal to take a chemical test in connection with being arrested on suspicion of DUI, and this should happen in the next one-two weeks. Amanda's first court date will be in Beverly Hills at the beginning of June. She won't be required to be there because it's only a misdemeanour."

Amanda's team is reportedly worried about her wild lifestyle.

"Amanda was just going out without thinking after her DUI arrest," a source told Radar Online recently. "She was spotted texting and driving and just putting herself in really horrible situations. Amanda's agent and manager have ordered her to lie low and avoid clubs." (C) Cover Media
