The actress has embarked on a promising acting career since her 2004 film debut in high school movie, Mean Girls.

In the 2009 erotic thriller Chloe, Amanda portrayed a prostitute and falls for a brooding outsider in new movie Red Riding Hood. The star believes these kind of risqu roles suit her mischievous personality. Amanda says she has no trouble transforming into a sex siren on screen, but finds that her sultry appeal disappears, once the cameras stop rolling.

I can turn my sexuality on and off. It doesnt exist in everyday situations, I dont really think about it then, but there are certain situations where I will make myself be aware of it. Just to keep myself in check, you know? Amanda told Total Film. Not to say that Im overtly sexual Im not. But Im definitely very connected to that side of myself.
