(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amber Rose says Kanye West always believed she'd be "iconic".
The American model enjoyed a high-profile relationship with the rapper from 2008 until last summer.
Amber, 28, says Kanye always reassured her that she'd appeal to the masses.
"He would always tell me how beautiful I was and that I was going to be iconic. He always said that Baby, you are iconic. You don't understand what you have.' I didn't. I didn't understand it. We didn't talk about that. It just happened naturally and I built an entire fan base around the world."
Since splitting up with Kanye, the stunning star has had some lucrative offers including a vintage sunglasses business, a talk show on XM Sirius satellite radio and is paid to attend events across the globe. The blonde-haired beauty also has a reality TV show in the pipeline.
Amber says that despite her new-found fame, she doesn't have the luxury of being independently wealthy, and this will appeal to viewers.
"As far as fame, I'm not concerned with that," she confessed. "That's going to be the great thing about my show. I don't have rich parents and it's a struggle. I can't just call my dad and be like Dad, my money is a little messed up. Can you buy me a car or a house?' It's not like that for me. I feel like more people will relate to my story than the Kardashians or the Hiltons." (C) Cover Media
