(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan will appear in court today to see if she has violated her probation.

The 24-year-old actress has been under house arrest following her sentence on April 22 to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service for violating probation on charges of misdemeanour jewellery theft.

She has now been summoned to court to resolve whether she violated her probation related to a 2007 DUI case. According to RadarOnline.com, the star tested positive for alcohol on June 12 or 13, which counts as a violation, although this has not been confirmed.

"We are unclear as to the violation because we have not gotten any paperwork," Sandi Gibbons of the District Attorney's Office explained to AP.

Lindsay is due to appear at the Airport Branch Courthouse in Los Angeles for the hearing at 10am today.

She has recently been quoted telling Life&Style about the insignificance of alcohol in her life when discussing a barbecue she had hosted.

"I had these great people come over who I hadn't seen in a while. It was a nice day to go outside. I should be able to utilise the space I'm limited to. When my friends come over, they're not drinking. Alcohol is not in my house, so it's just not part of my life," she said.
