Bigg Boss 7 contestant Kushal Tandon recently remained in the headlines for asking why Ameesha Patel didn't stand up for national anthem during her movie date with her friends on twitter.

Kushal mentioned in his tweet that how Ameesha remained seated while the National Anthem was being played at a multiplex and was busy checking her phone.

Though initially the actress ignored it, finally seething with anger she insulted him with her series of tweets.

Ranting against Kushal she wrote, "Whoever that so called kushal Tandon is is a a real jackass n invades privacy of women"

"Idiot kushal Tandon had the nerve to tweet that I didn't get up during national anthem. Did the jackass ask why?"

"Women we all need to slap kushal. I had the monthly girly problem. Getting up wud have caused a blood flow on the theatre ground"

Just when he thought that Kushal would retract his tweet to avoid further consequences, he replied saying that he didn't know about it and doesn't disrespect her as he also has a mother and sisters. But was disappointed to see someone disrespecting the nation and didn't bother if that person was a star or any common man.

He also added that abusing him on the social networking platform doesn't suit her and closed his tweet by wishing her all the best for her career.
