Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher's Twitter account was recently hacked. The 62-year-old actor came forward to speak about this to several news agencies. Mr. Kher was in Los Angeles and revealed that he came to know that he is hacked by his homeland friends. "My Twitter account has been hacked. Just got few calls from friends in India about it. I am in LA and it is 1 am," quotes the actor to a news agency through a text message.
He says he has reported the hack to Twitter. The hackers are alleged to be an Islamic group from Turkey. Several screenshots and a now-deleted tweet posted on Mr. Kher's handle are wide spreading on social media. It is a Turkish tweet that ended with 'I Love Pakistan.'
But the actor's seems to be fine and running now, after being temporarily hacked. Mr Kher's official twitter handle consist of recent pics posted by the actor from Los Angeles with actors Armie Hammer and Jason Isaacs, and a message for his co-star Kumail Nanjiani, the one who played his on-screen son.
Mr. Kher debut in the year 1984 in the film 'Saaransh'. Since then he acted as a supporting role in most of the recognizable films from the last few decades and has also earned an international rapport through his appearances in movies like 'Silver Linings Playbook' and 'Bend It Like Beckham'.
