Anaganaga O Dheerudu to release in Tamil Nadu
14th January 2011
Good news for Shruthi fans in Tamil Nadu. The producers have dropped their plans of restricting the release of 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' in Tamil Nadu. Initially the producers had plans of dubbing the movie in Tamil as it had familiar faces like Siddarth and Shruthi Haasan. On the spur of moment, the decisions seem to have been changed as there were good offers from distributors and theatre owners.
'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' will be India's first fantasy film marking the maiden production venture of Hollywood's Walt Disney. The film is co-produced by veteran filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao and his son Prakash makes his debut directorial.
The film revolves around a blood curdling combat between a warrior (Siddarth) and a snake woman (played by Lakshmi Manchu) while Shruthi Haasan takes on the role of a charming princess.
'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' opens with more prints in Tamil Nadu tomorrow for the occasion of Pongal.
