(Cover) - EN Star Style - Angelina Jolie has been described as "real" as new pictures of her Core Values campaign for Louis Vuitton have emerged.
The Hollywood actress is the new face of the luxury design brand and features in their latest campaign. The brunette beauty has bare feet and looks sultry in a wooden boat in Cambodia in the first pictures released on WWD.
The setting is poignant as Cambodia is the country she adopted her son Maddox from after filming Lara Croft: Tomb Raider there in 2000.
The 36-year-old beauty has been described as "real" ahead of the launch.
"People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation," Vuitton's executive vice president, Pietro Beccari, told WWD. "I like the fact that it's a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand."
Pietro didn't comment on rumours that Angelina was paid in the region of $10 million for doing the shots. The executive did divulge that the stunning star donated a significant amount of her fee to charity, although it is unknown which one.
The Core Values campaign aims to capture Louis Vuitton's pieces in real situations on real people, meaning they use celebrities in their ads as opposed to models.
Angelina joins Sofia Coppola and Rolling Stone Keith Richards, who have previously fronted the brand.
The campaign is expected to run for at least 18 months. (C) Cover Media
