'Student of the Year 2' takes ahead Dharma Productions' one of the most celebrated franchise 'Student of the Year' that launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the industry. Sticking to its main motto this one too launches two new faces in the industry Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria alongside the 'Baaghi' actor Tiger Shroff. 

This college campus of Saint Teresa just meets the expectation of dream college. High on fashion, really filmy dialogues, lavish dance acts, peppy tracks to get you grooving, hunky looking guys to drool over, pretty looking-snobbish girls, daredevil stunts and many such elements complete the trailer. 

Trailer opens with college principal Samir Soni announcing the much awaited competition. Tiger is introduced in his most loved manner, performing high-octane stunts and delivering some extremely filmy dialogues which he says on loop mode. While pretty lady Tara just wants to win a dance competition so that their is no looking back for her and Ananya plays a rich-spoiled brat who is fearless and lives life on her terms.  

If there are good guys, there will be bad guys too and Aditya Seal fills this gap. He plays a strong opponent to Tiger, resulting into expulsion of Tiger from the college. What follows next is a tale of jealousy, power and honesty. 

'Student of the Year' also had two guys competiting for the same girl, whereas in part 2 the game is reverse, Ananya and Tara will compete to win over Tiger.
