Anna Paquin and her husband Stephen Moyer are "overjoyed" with their new arrivals.

The Hollywood stars confirmed that they have welcomed healthy twins into the family.

Although the children arrived a little prematurely, everyone is in good shape.

"We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world," representatives for the stars told People magazine.

"The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed."

Stephen, 42, and Anna, 29, began dating in 2007 after they met on the True Blood set. They got engaged in 2009 and married a year later in a romantic Malibu ceremony.

The twins are the first for the couple, but Stephen has two children from previous relationships.

True Blood premiered its fifth season Sunday June 10 and the season finale aired late last month.
