(Cover) - EN Star Style - Anne Hathaway reportedly spent three hours getting her hair coloured for the Oscars.

Anne and fellow actor James Franco have become two of the most talked-about people in Hollywood after it was revealed they will be co-presenting the 2011 Academy Awards. The hotly-anticipated movie awards ceremony is due to take place this Sunday at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, and film fans have been desperately attempting to find out what hairstyles and dress changes Anne will wow with on the big night.

The stars colourist, Marie Robinson, has revealed Annes hairstyle has already been decided on, and perfecting it took a long time.

Three hours. She was very patient with the process, even when I had to rinse her hair out in sections over a sink, she told USMagazine.com.

The expert colourist says the hue isnt a drastic change as Anne has been loving her current glossy brunette shade. Instead they concentrated on creating a shinier, more glamorous look.

I made Anne's hair a medium rich brown then painted on highlights in various shades of honey and dark golden blonde to create a warmer tone. We also applied a gloss colour to create a shinier look overall, she said. Anne had been loving her current shade so we didn't want to make any drastic changes. We talked about adding shine and highlights.

Marie created the hairstyle with Annes gown changes in mind. She needed to create a look that was versatile enough to compliment Annes array of stunning outfits.

Because she is hosting this year, the highlights have to suit a multitude of different looks to compliment her gown and hair changes. I'm not sure of the exact number of gown changes but I believe she has several. We discussed strategically placing highlights in various places because she is expecting her hair style to change depending on what she is wearing, the stylist explained. (C) Cover Media
