(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Anne Hathaway has her appearance in Glee "mapped out" already.
Earlier this year the television show's creator Ryan Murphy confirmed Anne would be following in Gwyneth Paltrow's footsteps by shooting scenes for the programme.
Ryan will be soon be meeting with Anne to hammer out the details of her cameo, something he's really looking forward to.
"I'm meeting with Anne in the next couple weeks," he told MTV News at the Emmy Awards last night. "We're not going to do guest stars at all the first half of the season, but I would love to work with her and she supposedly has the whole thing mapped out."
It's previously been reported that Anne wants to play the lesbian aunt of Kurt Hummel, portrayed by Chris Colfer.
The actress is keen to sing on the musical show, and is known to love showing off her vocal talents. Anne has sung at the Oscars before, and recently performed a rap on an American talk show.
She previously stated she'd like to duet on musical number Into the Woods with Chris while on the show, but Ryan is remaining tight-lipped about the actual plans.
"I'm curious as to what she wants to do. I love her. I think she's great," he said.
Appearing on Glee has been great for Gwyneth.
She received the Outstanding Guest Performance in a Comedy Series prize at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards this month for her portrayal of substitute teacher Holly Holliday.
Glee star Jayma Mays was at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles last night and spoke of her pride at being involved with the show.
She plays germaphobe Emma Pillsbury and thinks Glee's message of acceptance is a vital one.
"I don't know if that is something they set out to do, but I think it is a wonderful by product of the show. I feel very proud if the show," she said.
The programme follows a group of high school misfits who bond over their love of singing. (C) Cover Media
