Cricket and Bollywood connection has been trending since decades and yet to create another magic.

If grapevine is to be believed, India's cricket vice captain and Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper, Virat Kohli will be seen playing the role of 1960s cricketer in Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer 'Bombay Velvet'.

The pair up, Virat and Anushka are less viral and at every step, the two had been together. The film is directed by Anurag Kashyap which is based on Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables.

As per data, during Kohli's short trip to Sri Lanka, he might have shot for the movie where he is doing the cameo. The movie has also been shot in Sri Lanka. The film also stars Karan Johar in his acting debut.
