(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Anne Hathaway says shes full of inner torment and turmoil and questioning.
The actress is one of the most successful in Hollywood, having starred in movies such as The Devil Wears Prada, Alice in Wonderland and her new release Love and Other Drugs. She knows she has achieved a lot, but insists her worries are still the same as any other womans. She continually frets about her relationships and the way her life is headed, and doesnt expect that to change.
I have the same worries as my friends: How do I fill up my days?, Who am I?, What is love? Questions youre supposed to be asking at this age. Im where I should be in many ways and I wouldnt change that, she told the December issue of UK magazine Elle.
The physical realities of my life are beautiful but [theres] all the inner torment and turmoil and questioning. Its like there are good days and bad days. When I was younger, there were a lot more bad days and now there are more good days than ever. And, I dont know, maybe theres light at the end of the tunnel where there are a lot of good days.
The 27-year-old tries not to think about her public persona as she thinks it would send her mad if she did. She admits some aspects of her life are hard her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was imprisoned for fraud, and she had to deal with the fall out in the limelight. Anne gets through it by relying on the people she works with and her friends and family, who understand she needs time to fall apart when the spotlight isnt on her.
I have this extraordinary opportunity and I wouldnt complain about any aspect of it, but we all give things up and youve got to put you professional face on and do it, she said. Thank God I have people in my life who give me space to fall apart when I need to. I dont need to do it on television. And Im pleased that I have enough self-control that I dont. (C) Cover Media
