(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Anthony Kiedis felt safe shooting a rooftop promo as one of the extras "looked like Mickey Rourke".

Anthony is frontman of iconic funk rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, which also comprises bassist Michael Flea' Balzary, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.

The laidback promo for the band's latest single The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie sees the group on a rooftop overlooking California's Venice Beach. There weren't any railings to stop them falling off, but Anthony wasn't nervous. He spotted a strong looking guy on the set who would have been able to catch him if he had stumbled.

"We were hanging out," the star told MTV.

"There was a character at the end of the video I don't know if you saw him, but he looks a little bit like Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler. I thought that he would probably catch me if I fell."

Anthony is a huge fan of beautiful Venice Beach so considered it the ideal setting for the promo. He teased that although it has a harmonious vibe, his band member Chad brought some edginess to the location.

"It's a nice place to be. There are palm trees, there are waves, there are people," he smiled.
