Having made cult films like Shaitan, Dev D, Udaan and Black Friday, Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has now teamed up with UTV Spotboy to make a comedy film titled ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’.

Having worked with UTV earlier on films like Aamir, ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ marks the reunion of UTV with Anurag. Says Anurag, “Together we have done some really good stuff starting with Aamir and then Dev D and Udaan. And we hope to repeat the same with Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana.”

Apparently, the plot of the story is a crazy comedy revolving around a Punjabi joint family.

The film will mark the directorial debut of Sameer Sharma while Kunal Kapoor and Huma Qureshi will be playing the lead roles in the movie. The music of the film has been given by the talented Amit Trivedi who has worked earlier with Anurag in his films including Dev D.

Shooting of the film has begun in Punjab and the film is slated to release in mid 2012.
