When Arjun Rampal played the role of the main antagonist in the film ‘Om Shanti Om’, the world was floored with his impeccable style as a villain. From his strong character portrayal to his flawless performance, everything got him the recognition as the next sexy-savvy antagonist of Bollywood. Later he went on to play some characters with grey streaks in the films including ‘Housefull’ and ‘Raajneeti’ and the latest is ‘Ra.One’ that will see him as the high-tech suave villain.

When Arjun was recently quizzed over this trend of picking up grey character roles, Arjun was quick to reply that ‘Om Shanti Om’ was a perfect opportunity for him to display a gamut of emotions and he didn’t want to lose it. Further he stated that films like ‘Housefull’ and ‘Rajneeti’ too offered him the opportunity to exemplify varied emotions which according to him were not totally negative.

And when quizzed about being the new age ‘Ra.One’, he says who wouldn’t like to do a big film like ‘RA.One’ where one has heavy-weight dialogues and a title role to play.
