Before becoming friends, paparazzi often pitches Bollywood actors as each others' rivals. Be it actresses or actors, everyone is pitched against each other after they touch a certain peak of popularity in their respective careers. And this was the case when it was reported that there was a sense of cold vibes between Bollywood's hottest picks - Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

They have a lot many things in common. While they both made impressive debuts under Yash Raj Films, they have been touted as next superstars of the Hindi film industry as well. Hence, now that the two co-stars are in YRF's upcoming production 'Gunday', the comparisons were bound to raise their ugly heads.

It was reported that there's a stern rivalry between them which is growing with each passing day as they have been shooting for their film. But Arjun recently refuted all these rumors.

"We both knew each other way before we became actors. Hence no question of rivalry arises amongst us. As for media rumors, we can't really do anything about it," said Arjun.

While stars go out of their way to clarify rumors spread about them, we wonder where it all starts from in the first place.
