The classy and beautiful actress from Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who celebrates her birthday today will be receiving a grand gift on this special day.

Ash will be honoured with the French civilian award 'Officer Dan Ordre Arts et des Lettres', today in Mumbai.

Apparently, this award has been waiting for almost four years as the actress was suppose to receive it in 2009 but she couldn't attend the ceremony as her father was ill. Last year as well it was put on hold as a mark of respect to the victims of the Mumbai blast on November 26, 2008.

But this year, she will finally be awarded and her entire family including her in-laws, husband Abhishek Bachchan and parents will attend the event to cheer and congratulate her.

Ash is one of the youngest celebrities to receive the honour as stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Raghu Rai, Nandita Das and a few others have received them too.
