Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore reportedly had an uncomfortable run-in recently.

The 49-year-old actress announced last month that she was ending her six-year marriage to the Two and a Half Men star following allegations of his infidelity.

But Us Weekly reports that things are not easy between the couple at the moment which was made evident when they bumped into each other last Thursday.

Demi was apparently at a West Hollywood private members' club with a male friend which "didn't look romantic at all," a fellow diner claimed.

During her meal, the actress spotted her 33-year-old estranged husband on the opposite side of the patio.

"She approached his table," the source said and added that the actor was with four friends at the time. "He gave her a hug, and they spoke for a few minutes."

The bystander claimed that the chat was "polite" but the scene was "very awkward."

Demi is said to be considering moving away from Los Angeles so she can have a fresh start.

As Ashton's television show will keep him on the West Coast, friends have apparently been advising her to head to the Big Apple.

"Demi is not ready to think too far ahead. But many people are suggesting she might relocate from the West Coast to New York to get some distance from Ashton," a source told the British edition of Grazia magazine.

"She loves the East Coast, has loads of friends there and owns her own apartment. Whatever happens, it's going to be baby steps. She has a lot of healing to do."
