(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Avril Lavigne thinks its time for her to chill and stop getting tattoos.

The 26-year-old Canadian singer is currently promoting Goodbye Lullaby, her fourth studio album, which reflects the more grown-up sound she has developed since she catapulted to fame with debut album Let Go in 2002.

The star hasnt lost her punk-inspired aesthetic though, and is proud of the various tattoos which adorn her body, including a star inked on the inside of her left wrist and the name Brody beneath her right breast in tribute to current boyfriend, The Hills star Brody Jenner. She doesnt think shell be adding to her collection anytime soon though.

Nothing new recently, I got a few on my time off and I think I should probably chill on that for a bit - tattoos, she laughed in an interview with BBC Radio One.

The star who also still sports matching inkings with ex-husband Deryck Whibley of rock band Sum 41 doesnt regret any of her body art. She says all of her tattoos are testament to the happiest periods in her life.

Definitely not, she replied, when asked if she dislikes any of her inkings.

I like all my tattoos, they all remind me of friendships, a lot of them are matching tattoos [with friends]. Its a moment in time. Whenever Im having a really good time I bust out and say lets get tattoos.

The singer has been busy visiting various countries throughout the globe lately to perform and promote her new album. Avril loves having the chance to experience new cultures, and insists things never get too wild on her tour bus.

We have bus parties and chill, theres no vodka involved whatsoever. Theres no getting the bus to pull over, she smiled. (C) Cover Media
