Wedding bells are finally ringing yet again for playback singer turned politician Babul Supriyo. The singer was earlier married to Ria with whom he divorced in the year 2015. They also have a daughter named Sharmilee. Now Babul will tie the knot for the second time with an air hostess named Rachna Sharma on August 9, 2016. Rachna is a Punjabi from Jalandhar, but based in Kolkata.

The two met each other in the year 2014 for the first time when the singer was travelling from Kolkata to Mumbai for the preparation of his election campaign. The two had a conversation and quickly exchanged numbers. The couple has now decided to tie the knot in Delhi.

According to a source when asked about the wedding Babul said, "I have many friends in Delhi and Mumbai and I would want them to be part of the wedding. It will be a low-key, traditional Bengali wedding. We may host one function in Kolkata later, maybe our first Babul Supriyo, 45, managed to date his bride-to-be for two years. You can say 'date' if ministers are allowed to date. There may be another function in Mumbai."

He also added, "The wedding will be like a mix of Bengali ghol and Punjabi lassi. I think my friends from Mumbai will take care of the singing and dancing, while I will be busy taking care of my guests."
