Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra just wrapped up the shooting of their upcoming movie 'Badhaai Ho' couple of days ago.

Soon after the wrap-up, this quirky flick freezes a release date. The movie will hit the theatres on the auspicious occasion of Dusshera on October 19, 2018. It's a story of a family dealing with an unexpected news and in a unique way possible.

Sharing a picture along with his co-star Sanya, Ayushmann tweeted, "#BadhaaiHo to release on Dussehra. 19th Oct 2018 @sanyamalhotra_ @jungleepictures @pictureschrome."

This will be Sanya Malhotra's second movie in Bollywood post her successful debut in 'Dangal'. Directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Junglee Pictures and Chrome Pictures.

Speaking about the movie Ayushmann said,"Yes, it is again a quirky film; I think I own the quirky film genre. Agar koi actor aisey film karna chahata hai, he should be told, 'Ayushmann ke type ki film kar rahe ho (laughs)'. The best part of my character in the film is that he's very urban in the office space and very desi when he's home. Most middle-class Delhi guys are like that. They speak English in office, par ghar pe koi English bolta hi nahi. It's a very cool story, though I can't reveal too much about it."
