December 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):There is no end to the pain that Anandi has to suffer in the popular Indian television serial Balika Vadhu. Beginning from her childhood days, Anandi, the lead character in Balika Vadhu has suffered much after she was married off and made to stay away from her parents. Now that the girl has grown up, there are other types of pain in store for her. In spite of being a very bright student, Anandi had to sacrifice her studies to serve her in-laws, but she never allowed Jagiya, her husband to stop his higher studies and Anandi was the main inspiration behind Jagiyas joining medical school.

But it now looks like Anandi has dug her own grave by sending Jagiya away from her. The budding friendship between Jagiya and Gauri, his classmate in medical college, is making Anandi insecure. She feels that Jagiya is ignoring her to be with Gauri. On the other hand, Anandis friend is also about to be married off at a tender age, a marriage that she does not support after realizing what an early marriage does to life.

At this point of time, Anandis teacher Sandhya, played by Sadiya Siddiqui, comes to her rescue. She had been absent from action since long and it is now to be seen whether she is successful in helping Anandi overcome her pain. Sandhya comes across a dejected Anandi inside a temple premises in Balika Vadhu. Will Sandhya be successful in her attempt to cheer Anandi and also improve the faults in the society they live in?
