Ban on 'Vishwaroopam' just gets worse

It's been a while since veteran actor Kamal Haasan, who is loved by both South and the Hindi film industry has been facing a lot of issue regarding his film 'Vishwaroopam'.

It is heard that the film is banned in Tamil Nadu, Kamal's hometown. The reason being that some Muslims protested against some offensive scenes and dialogues in the movie. This has created a lot of controversies in the film industry.

The film that was initially planned to release on January 14, 2013 has been delayed for over two weeks now.

An upset Kamal stated that he has put in a lot of money to fight against this ban which has almost made him bankrupt. The actor further added that he has mortgaged his house and other properties to fight against his film losing over 30 Crore.

He further stated that if he doesn't get justice, he will leave the country and live abroad as he has to choose between the two.

Awaiting to take the battle to the Supreme Court as yet, Kamal has been receiving all the support from his fans and fellow-colleagues.

The Hindi version, 'Vishwaroop' is scheduled to release tomorrow February 1, 2013.
