Looks like the Kollywood box-office is going to witness a big fight in the second week of October.
The rumours of superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan', clashing with Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam', were dismissed long ago. However, now the release dates are no rumour, and two much-awaited films – 'Viswaroopam' and 'Maatraan' are scheduled to hit the screens on the same day.
While it has officially been announced that, Suriya-starrer 'Maatraan' will release on October 12th, Kamal Haasan stated that, the magnum opus 'Viswaroopam' is slated for an October 12 release.
Produced by Kamal, 'Viswaroopam' has him in the lead role, as well. He has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film.
