Drew Barrymore's future mother-in-law is "thrilled" about the engagement.

Drew accepted Will Kopelman's proposal to marry over the holidays.

Will's mother Coco cannot wait for the pair to walk down the aisle.

"We're excited and thrilled!" Coco gushed to Life & Style magazine. "From the moment I met her [I loved her]. She's easy to be with, very sweet, very real."

Coco believes that Drew and Will have an excellent relationship with each other.

"They're very cute together," she said. "They're very loving. It's just what a parent wants to see: their kid happy."

Drew and Will, who have been dating for nearly a year, have not yet revealed any wedding plans. Coco confirms that the couple are taking their time with sorting out ceremony details.

"It just happened and we don't have any information about it," she said. "It's very recent. They haven't talked at all about that."

Will proposed to Drew while the couple vacationed in Sun Valley, Idaho last month.
