(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Beyonc Knowles could not resist fitting in a shoe shopping trip in London today, but in the end left empty handed.

The 29-year-old singer took her mother Tina to Selfridges department store, accompanied by an entourage of minders.

Known for her love of towering heels, the songstress looked at several pairs of shoes, including a studded leather pair, but in the end left after 30 minutes without buying anything.

Fans were surprised to see the star just mingling among other shoppers when some celebrities are known to have whole stores closed down for them so they can shop privately.

Beyonc and her mother joined together several years ago to launch their own design label, House of Deron.

And the pair are set to start selling their clothes in Selfridges this September, expanding their brand further.

The Grammy winner was in the UK this weekend to perform at T In The Park festival in Scotland where she wowed the crowds with an energetic performance of her hit songs.

It is Beyonc's second music festival appearance in the UK in the past few weeks after playing to her biggest ever audience of 175,000 at Glastonbury festival last month. (C) Cover Media
