After legendary Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, it is the gorgeous Deepika Padukone to get her prestigious wax-statue at London's Madame Tussauds. The 32-year-old revealed the news via facebook live straightaway from London where the 'Tamasha' actress was present for the measurement
. Announcing the news Deepika said "It's fun, exciting and in a way, I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then it’s really, really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it." Deepika also mentioned that the only time she visited London was in her childhood and now she is getting a wax-statue in one of the most prestigious museums in the world.
Deepika even shared the measurement bits via her official Twitter handle and captioned "It's all about the details" Her statue will be placed in the A-list category. On being asked next to whom would she like to place her statue with, the actress replied, "I think near fun people so that we can have our own little party there. But I think just to be part of this legacy of people who have achieved so much in life is exciting enough."
Deepika concluded by saying,"To receive a letter and now to be a part of that, and to actually experience what goes into making these wax figures. I think Madame Tussauds is so iconic in so many ways so it's really special"
