The makers of 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' are out with its official trailer and we have Shahid Kapoor in an unique character of Uttarakhand's small-town local lawyer crazy for friendship and honest for love. The trailer begins showcasing the (Batti Gul) problem from the hilly terrains of the Uttarakhand.
Vimal Bisht aka Shahid has a crazy bond with his friend Divyendu Sharma and love interest Shraddha Kapoor who plays Lalita Nautiyal and Shahid calls her with nickname Nauty. Their chemistry is entwining and even the friendship is honest but things get worse as STPL electric company sends his friend a bill of 54 lacks.
Shraddha and Shahid reunite once again after Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider and both look versatile and close to their characters, the way they have handled the Hindi speaking dialect from Uttarakhand. Shahid and Yami's face-off looks appealing with the real story-line of the film. Earlier in the day, team 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' had unveiled the first poster of the film along with a reminder of the film's trailer release date.
Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh and bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar's T-series, 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is slated to release on 21st September.
The makers have also dropped the film's making video and we see Shree Narayan Singh in the director's seat filming the sequences taking all the command. We also see Shahid questioning himself and urging the director to take the shot. While the chemistry of three lifelong friends Divyendu Sharma, Shahid and Shraddha Kapoor is graced beautifully. The Toilet Ek Prem Katha director laughs around and even giggles with the actors to make a fun atmosphere. Click here to watch the making video.
