(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Timberlake and his fiance Jessica Biel appeared really "fond of each other" while shopping Monday.

The pair visited Eli Halali's jewellery store in New York City's SoHo neighbourhood before venturing to Monday night's star-studded Met Gala.

Justin and Jessica looked extremely happy together.

"They definitely seemed fond of each other," a source told People magazine. "They were extremely personable, comfortable and relaxed. They weren't holding hands or anything, but they just seemed comfortable with each other. [They] spent over a half hour [in the store]."

The couple left the establishment with a 24 karat gold ring and two necklaces totaling nearly $7,000.

Justin and Jessica have been together on-and-off for around five years.

Justin is understood to have popped the question over the Christmas break while the pair were holidaying together.

They have so far kept details of their relationship private, with Jessica only showing off her engagement ring for the first time in February.

The lovebirds are thought to be planning a lavish summer nuptial ceremony. (C) Cover Media
