Big B and Taapsee's 'Badla' to release on March 8

Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu who was last seen in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's 'Pink' are back again for a film. The duo reunites in Sujoy Ghosh's directorial film titled 'Badla' and we can't wait to witness their jugalbandi on screen.

Taapsee took her excitement to Twitter revealing the film's logo poster with a release date on it. The actress tweeted, "This will KICKSTART my 2019 ! #Badla." The film is backed by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and its official twitter handle tweeted,"And we have a release date! #BADLA releases in cinemas near you on 8th March 2019. @SrBachchan @taapsee @sujoy_g @iamsrk @VenkyMysore @sunirkheterpal @_GauravVerma @redchilliesent @iAmAzure."

Badla is a remake of 2016 Spanish hit film 'Contratiempo' which was titled 'The Invisible Guest' in English. The cast wrapped up shooting for its first schedule at Glasgow before Amitabh joined Ayan Mukerji for 'Brahmastra' with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Recently, Taapsee began promotions for her upcoming film, Anubhav Sinha's 'Mulk' with Rishi Kapoor. Moreover, speaking to a leading daily about her role Taapsee stated that she plays a bigshot entrepreneur from Scotland. Bankrolled by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment, Badla is slated to release on March 8, 2019
