After winning hearts as a host on Television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, Supertar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to make his fiction debut on TV with the series titled 'Yudh'.
As this his debut with the fiction genre on TV, the show is extremely important to him personally and so he is paying keen attention on the way the show is being marketed and otherwise.
'Yudh' which is creatively directed by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is expected to launch in July and Big B is ardently meeting with the core team involved in the promotions of the TV series.
"He is removing time out from his chaotic schedule and having closed door meetings to get a sense of how things are shaping up," an insider revealed.
"Amitji does not like to disturb his shooting schedules, so while the shooting when he takes a break for lunch, he does a working lunch and meets the team to check on developments. And if anything is pending, he waits back after shoot to discuss it," the source added.
Besides sharing tips on marketing, he has also been regularly meeting the core team involved in the promotion of the series.
"Right from the promos that go on air to the edit, he is overseeing things and also taking into account opinions of people present on set," the source further said.
In fact, we also hear that the chief idea of having the promo of the show to be played at the IPL, was one of the ideas that came out of these meetings.
