There is no dearth of rumours around estranged couples in Bollywood. 

No matter how far or close they stay to each other post their break up, the media is filled with all sorts of stories about them. 

The latest to succumb to this flair of the media was former golden couple of Bollywood, Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan. 

Though they broke off quite a few years ago, the rumours surrounding them refuse to die. 

The latest to hit the marquee was the grapevine which claimed that Katrina is all set to do a sizzling item number in Salman Khan's much awaited forthcoming film 'Kick'. 

It was rumoured that as the film is Producer Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut, Salman wanted extra zing to it and hence asked Katrina to perform on an item number in the film. 

But contrary to the rumours, there is no such item number that Katrina is doing in the film. 

She along with her spokesperson cleared that there never was a plan to do the mentioned song in the film. 

"The rumours are baseless. Katrina has not even been approached for any song in 'Kick'. She is currently busy wrapping up her three films for which she has been working non-stop," said her spokesperson.
