Today is a crucial day for Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani, both multilingual actresses. For, 'Sridhar', the Tamil dubbed version of their Telugu hit 'Oh My Friend', has hit the screens in Tamil Nadu.

The actresses shared the screen space with Siddharth in this film. Sathish has acquired the dubbing rights from the original producer Dil Raju and released the film in TN, with enough advertisements.

Debutant Venu Sriram has wielded the megaphone for the movie, which spoke about the difference between friendship and love. 'Sathish's innovative marketing strategies have made the movie attract all attention,' trade sources in Kollywood say.

Initially Siddharth was approached to dub for the movie. However, he refused to do so. But Simbu, a top actor in Kollywood, has crooned a song for 'Sridhar', as he is a close friend of Sathish.
