Shruti Haasan has fallen into the trap of legal trouble.

Picturehouse Media, a leading media and entertainment house has lodged legal proceedings against her for pulling out of its yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual project citing the issue of dates.

The statement stated that irrespective of Shruti Haasan's entrance into the contractual agreement for a lead role in the bilingual starring Nagarjuna and Karthi directed by Vamsi Paidipalli, she has reneged on her contractual obligations.
