10th September 2014

Highly talked about film 'Finding Fanny' has found the audience raving about the quality of it's cinema even before it's worldwide release. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film stars Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles.

Though the release of the film is a couple of days away, the team organised a special screening of the same for their close friends and industry experts.

Amongst these were some who loved the film so much that they actually went out of their way to praise the film in press so that they can recommend it to the people.

The first to talk about it was Deepika's close buddy cum filmmaker Karan Johar. Though he loved the performances by the stars in the film, he claims to have been immensely impressed by film's director.

"I absolutely loved it. It's one of the finest written films I have seen in a very long time and it's what you call an ensemble victory. Pankaj, Naseer, Dimple, Arjun, Deepika are all outstanding, but the biggest star of the film will remain Homi. He put it together and he set a world that you haven't seen, the way he handled performances, the nuances of the screenplay. It's a complete directorial victory. I enjoyed it thoroughly," he said.

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan who too was one of the guest attendees of the special screening, couldn't stop talking about the film. He stated that he had great expectations from the film and he was happy that it didn't disappoint him at all.

"I saw the promos of the film and I decided that I am going to love this film. There are some films that you already decide you are going to like and I loved it," said Hrithik.

Apart from Karan Johar, there was another filmmaker who went gaga over the film. This biggie was none other than filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. "Finding Fanny is a really unique film, I really enjoyed it. It's crazy. It's the director who has made it very crazy and interesting. You could relate to all these people. Very enjoyable, very funny," he said.

Produced by Maddock Films, the film is slated to release on September 12.
