(Cover) - EN Movies - Bill Nighy is in negotiations to star in the Total Recall remake.

The British actor is set to play resistance leader Quatto in the Len Wiseman-directed science fiction film.

If the star signs on to the movie, he will join Colin Farrell who is portraying Doug Quaid, a factory worker who becomes entangled in the conflict between the nation states of Euromerica and New Shanghai.

Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel are also starring in the action movie, with Kate set to portray Doug's wife Lori and Jessica to play Rachel, the girl Doug meets in his spy life.

Ethan Hawke is also set to appear in the movie in a cameo role.

Total Recall is set for an August 2012 release and begins shooting this June in Toronto.

The original 1990 version of the film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger was a massive hit and fans are eagerly anticipating the remake. (C) Cover Media
