By now the whole world is aware of the fact that both the leading ladies Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu who starred in the original 'Race' will not be leading the sequel as Deepika Padukone has already taken their place. Earlier Sonakshi Sinha too was finalized to star in the film however she backed out citing date issues and is now replaced by Jacqueline Fernandez.

However not many know that Bipasha Basu who played protagonist Saif Ali Khan's love interest in the original will do a special appearance in the sequel. The sequel, like the original is directed by the duo Abbas-Mustan who is the mentor for Bipasha Basu as it was their film 'Ajnabee' that placed her in the big league. However it is pay back time for the dusky beauty who recently confirmed the story that she has a small cameo in the action thriller film.

We wonder if that 'special' appearance is an 'item number', if that’s the case we are sure the fans are in for a visual treat.
